Lupita Nyong’o Covers Elle France’s July 2014 Summer Issue.

Despite there only being three picture, the best thing about these shots are how bold, positive, vibrant and unapologetic Lupita comes across in these photos. Too often, mainstream women’s magazine have women repeating the similar poses, with expressions we’ve seen time and time again, and with the same reserved or forlorn look in their eyes.

Lupita wears Giambattista Valli and was photographed by by Alexi Lubomirski.

To continue the feud???

is bring it even good. i watched 10 minutes of it once and it seemed like an overrated show.. but i can’t judge from that soo help, any other opinions?

no it’s so ghetto and dumb

image

Please inform me what is so ‘ghetto’ and ‘dumb’ about little black girls coming together to work hard together and achieve their dreams of becoming the best dancers

Please explain to me what is so ‘ghetto’ and ‘dumb’ about black parents actively supporting their children in majorette-based dancing, which has significant cultural root in African dancing.

Please tell me what is so ‘ghetto’ and ‘dumb’ about black girls who aren’t forced into “ideal” body types but are instead trained to perform at their maximum capacity under the tutelage of an accomplished dancer, businesswoman, wife, and mother of one son.

Or did all of that completely pass over your head once you saw ‘black girls twerking’ and immediately began to use disgustingly racialized language to attack the show?
